A campaign committee has been formed to draft pro wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to run for president in 2020, federal election records show. The organization, “Run the Rock 2020,” was formed Sunday by Kenton Tilford of Wheeling, West Virginia, who filed on behalf of The Rock, according to The Hill and Federal Election Commission paperwork.

A LinkedIn search found a profile belonging to a Kenton Tilford of the same town in West Virginia. That person works as a freelance writer and researcher and wrote a guest post for Decision Desk in April.

In May, The Rock told GQ Magazine that he’s thinking about running for president as an independent in 2020.

“Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important,” he said. “Leadership would be important. Taking responsibility for everybody.”
