“Fighting Iran was not one of [voters’] top policy priorities when they elected [Donald Trump] and … [they] wanted a real transformational period and a belief that America was at a precipice and needed a lot of stuff done here to save the country here,” Federalist Editor-In-Chief Mollie Hemingway said on Fox News Sunday. “And so the longer this war goes on, you might see changes there, even in terms of just the enthusiasm Republican voters have heading into the midterms.”
