“I think the killing of Charlie has ushered in the age of the American Christian martyr. And as a result, we all need to recognize the threat that we’re under. And, you know, Christ calls us to follow him completely, but that doesn’t mean we’re supposed to be stupid. It doesn’t mean we’re supposed to be blasé or ignore obvious threats. He gives us a brain for a reason,” Federalist CEO Sean Davis said on The Benny Show.
Davis also acknowledged that the persecution of Christians will continue, but reminded viewers of faith that the war is already won.
“They can go and burn our churches. They can shoot us. They can chop us up. They can never stop Jesus Christ. And I think that should give us great confidence and great power going forward,” he said.
