The FDA is reitterating the known side effects of hydroxychloroquine, so the New York Times doubles down on Trump’s dangerous “touting” of the drug.
Following Trump’s touting of anti-malaria drug as a potential ‘game changer’ in treating the coronavirus, several states instituted bans on using the anti-virals. Now they’re carving out reasonable exceptions.
Twitter censors reporting on the successful use of the drug hydroxychloroquine for treating coronavirus patients, which is already approved by the FDA.
Of course Trump didn’t tell people they should take a prescription drug without a doctors orders. He certainly didn’t tell anyone to DIY the drug using a fish tank product.
