Putin Handed His Political Rival A Lighter Sentence Than Biden Wants To Give Trump

What does it say about our country that Putin goes easier on his political rival than President Joe Biden does his?

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s primary political rival, Alexei Navalny, was just banished to 19 years in prison after Russia’s corrupt state prosecution demanded a 20-year sentence. Navalny, who has been hyper-critical of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, has been incarcerated since January 2021, and this latest 19-year sentence is on top of two separate sentences amounting to over 11 years in prison.

However, Navalny’s prison sentence pales in comparison to the prison time President Joe Biden’s DOJ and the partisan stooges in the Manhattan district attorney’s office want to hand former President Donald Trump. Trump, Biden’s primary political opponent, has been indicted three times now. If convicted of all counts and given the maximum sentence, he would face 641 years in prison. In addition to being the most likely Republican nominee for the 2024 election, Trump also happens to be one of the most vocal and fierce critics of American involvement in the Ukraine war under Biden.

With zero self-awareness, Biden administration officials have condemned the imprisonment of Navalny, while simultaneously interfering in our own elections via the political persecution of Trump by Biden’s Justice Department.

Last Friday, one day after Trump was arraigned for engaging in First Amendment-protected speech, U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller decried Navalny’s 19-year prison sentence, writing in a statement that it was “an unjust conclusion to an unjust trial.”

Speaking of unjust trials, the latest charges the Biden DOJ has pursued against Trump will conveniently take place in Washington, D.C., where Trump will surely be met with a hostile grand jury and judge. This is in contrast to the federal charges Trump faces in Florida, where the jury and judge will come from outside the left-wing D.C. “swamp” — causing many to speculate the D.C. case was pursued to ensure Trump receives a conviction.

The United Nations and the European Union have also spoken out against Navalny’s imprisonment, but have said nothing about the Biden Justice Department’s targeting of Trump. And in perhaps the most egregious lack of self-awareness, Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote on X, formally known as Twitter, that “The United States strongly condemns Russia’s conviction of opposition leader Aleksey Navalny on politically motivated charges. The Kremlin cannot silence the truth. Navalny should be released.”

Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt clapped back, “Evidently jailing political opponents is bad in other countries but not in the United States. The Left is obsessed with Trump and they are doing incredible damage to our republic. [Trump Derangement Syndrome] is real.”

This isn’t the first time Blinken has virtue signaled abroad about things he himself is guilty of. Blinken reportedly helped orchestrate the infamous letter from dozens of ex-national security officials, which falsely claimed evidence found on Hunter Biden’s laptop implicating then-presidential candidate Joe Biden in a foreign pay-for-play scheme was Russian disinformation, even though the FBI knew it was real. Yet a few months after the 2020 election, in which the letter was used to silence discussion of Biden’s corruption, Blinken condemned the Chinese for interfering in Hong Kong’s elections to aid pro-China candidates.

Trump faces 78 criminal charges and counting, and Democrats show no signs of slowing down. Indeed, the former president may be subjected to additional charges in the Fulton County, Georgia D.A.’s get-Trump crusade

Members of the deep state have no right to criticize Russia and China for the same behavior they exhibit by weaponizing the criminal justice system against Biden’s primary political opponent and interfering in the last two presidential elections and the upcoming 2024 election. More importantly, what does it say about our country that Putin goes easier on his political rival than President Joe Biden does his?
