National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director and face of the country’s pandemic response Anthony Fauci just revealed plans to retire this December. He is not waiting until January 2025 as he had previously announced — a sign he may be trying to “get out of town” before the bill comes due.
For two years, narcissist Fauci has been standing on a shaky medical pulpit spouting falsehoods to justify his imposition of quasi-martial law and for taking away American freedoms. Once he was the savior of our country. Now people know him as a fraud who has done irreparable harm to our people and our nation.
The following is an enumeration of some Fauci’s most egregious falsehoods. Will he be held accountable for the damage he has done?
Covid’s Chinese Origin
The Covid-19 epidemic started in Wuhan, China, the province that houses the Wuhan Institute of Experimental Virology. Early in the pandemic, the possibility was suggested of a lab leak. Fauci furiously rejected the lab leak theory and demeaned those who dared suggest it was even a possibility. Evidence shows the virus probably was released from the Wuhan lab. Fauci continues to demur.
NIH funding in Wuhan
Fauci lied before Congress. He repeatedly denied that National Institutes of Health (NIH) had funded “gain-of-function” research at the Wuhan lab. Gain-of-function research refers to making a virus more contagious, more infectious, and/or deadlier. Records confirm that NIH did in fact fund gain-of-function studies at Wuhan.
In 2012, Facui defended gain-of-function research, acknowledging there are risks of a pandemic but that the benefits outweigh the risks. Two years after Fauci’s defense of the high-stakes research, the U.S. government deemed the work so dangerous it was banned.
Ironically, NIH just announced it is ceasing to fund the Wuhan lab, the same one that Fauci swears it never funded in the first place.
Face Mask Flip-Flopping
Mask efficacy was another Fauci scam. He demanded a face mask, then two, on every American, even small children, even those out alone riding a bike. The face mask became a talisman against contagion and a strictly enforced virtue signal.
Yet numerous studies, even from the CDC, show that masks don’t protect. Furthermore, no one assessed the potential danger of face masks to overall health and to communication, especially for children in school.
Fauci’s own emails exposed him as flip-flopping on the efficacy of masks. In the early days of the pandemic, Fauci wrote, “Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection.”
Fauci even told “60 Minutes” in a March 2020 interview that, “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask,” in part because “it could lead to a shortage of masks for the people who really need it.”
National Quarantine
In February 2021, medical tyrant Fauci imposed social isolation and lockdowns, assuring the nation that these never-used-before measures would stop the pandemic, probably within a few weeks. Eighteen months later, he is still saying what he did was right despite the facts.
States who strictly followed Fauci’s orders to stay locked down, masked, and socially isolated had much worse medical and fiscal outcomes than states that opened up early, threw away masks, and returned the children to school. Clearly, Fauci’s Covid response program was not based on science.
Vaccine Mandates
By mandate and proxy, Fauci ordered the entire country to take an experimental injection, mRNA vaccines, the “jab.” Probably the most egregious Fauci falsehood was his repeated claim that the vaccines were “safe, effective, and doctor-approved.”
mRNA vaccination has limited effectiveness, not the 94 percent protectiveness advertised by Fauci, Pfizer, and Moderna. There are no long-term studies. Short-term data are available despite reports that were censored, suppressed, or denigrated. Evidence confirms Covid-19 vacccines can cause heart inflammation, physical disabilities, menstrual irregularities, sperm reduction, even post-vaccination deaths, especially in teenage athletes and young children.
In a recent MSNBC appearance, Fauci whined that people don’t follow his advisories, don’t mask up, and are refusing the vaccine. He claimed (again) data showed vaccines plus boosters would protect people, when in fact, studies show that vaccines don’t protect and boosters can precipitate severe illness. President Biden has had two vaccinations plus at least two boosters and recently tested positive for Covid-19, twice.
Therapeutics
Early in the pandemic, clinical physicians wanted to treat Covid-19 patients with drugs such as Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, and Regeneron (monoclonal antibodies). Fauci, who has not cared for a patient since his training more than forty years ago, condescended to and demeaned those who sought to use these drugs. He was totally and exclusively committed to prevention with mRNA vaccines.
Fauci denigrated, suppressed, and canceled attempts to use or even study the drugs listed above. “Don’t do it,” he said in warning against Ivermectin in a CNN interview. After former President Donald Trump praised Regeneron and raved about it helping him recover from Covid, Fauci immediately downplayed it, telling MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell that researchers need results from a large clinical trial before drawing any conclusions about the Regeneron drug’s effectiveness.
Royalty payments
In a shocking report not publicized by any mainstream media or major online news outlet, the organization Open the Books found that pharmaceutical companies have paid Fauci, recently retired NIH Director Francis Collins, and other senior medical officials, a total of $134 million in well hidden, technically legal royalty payments. Fauci claimed this was standard practice and denied that royalties had any effect on his decisions of what drugs to recommend.
When Fauci retires, he will leave office with the highest government pension in history, exceeding $350,000 per year. That is more than what a president gets at retirement.
