Police say the driver, 27-year-old Gregory Timm, allegedly sped away after wrecking the Trump campaign’s tent.

Pictures posted on the Duval County Republican Party’s Twitter page show a brown and gold van fleeing the parking lot where the incident occurred while Trump signs and bumpers lay scattered on the ground.

“We are outraged by this senseless act of violence toward our great volunteers,” said Duval County Republican Party Chairman Dean Black in statement posted on Facebook. “The Republican Party of Duval County will not be intimidated by these cowards and we will not be silenced. I call on every Republican in our great city to stand up, get involved, and show these radicals that we will not be intimidated from exercising our Constitutional rights.”

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry also condemned the attack as “outrageous” on Twitter.

“The hate is toxic and dangerous. Thankfully no one was injured but certainly they are shaken after being targeted because they were registering voters,” said Curry.

President Donald Trump also issued a warning to the attackers on Twitter.

“Be careful tough guys who you play with!” Trump wrote Saturday night.

Duval County Republicans said they planned to “redouble” voter registration efforts in light of the attack.

Timm faces two charges of aggravated assault on a person 65 years old or older, one charge of criminal mischief, and one charge of driving with a license suspended, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
