Tim Alberta, chief political correspondent at Politico Magazine, joins Ben Domenech on the Federalist Radio Hour to discuss the current prospects for 2020 candidates, the shift of woke white liberals in the Democratic Party, and how the GOP lost the fight against porn. How has technology and the porn content producers made the industry impossible to regulate?
“There was an opportunity there, where the federal government willfully backed out of this space,” Alberta said. “During the Clinton presidency when the Internet boom took off, you had an opportunity then, if you were going to try to keep that Stormy Daniels in a bottle, to do it then and they didn’t.”
Alberta’s new book, “American Carnage: On the Front Lines of the Republican Civil War and the Rise of President Trump,” is coming this July.
