The National Football League was not always the dominating organization that it is today. On this episode of the Federalist Radio Hour, John Eisenberg discusses the history of the NFL through its tumultuous early decades and where it’s going now. Eisenberg is a Baltimore Ravens columnist and author of “The League: How Five Rivals Created the NFL and Launched a Sports Empire.”
Domenech and Eisenberg also talk about the lost art of the sports column and decline of sports journalism.
“I say this as an old school newspaper guy, but the war is over and we lost,” he said. “There’s just not enough man power anymore.”
