Matthew Kroenig joins Ben Domenech on the Federalist Radio Hour for a discussion on nuclear strategy, CIA director Gina Haspel, missile defense, and the situation in Venezuela. Kroenig is the Deputy Director for Strategy, Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security at Georgetown and author of “The Logic of American Nuclear Strategy: Why Strategic Superiority Matters.”

“We had this maximum pressure campaign against North Korea in the first year… we really had Kim Jong Un in a difficult spot,” he said. “But since then, they haven’t made any significant steps toward denuclearization. If he were serious about denuclearizing he could destroy weapons, destroy missles. He hasn’t done that.”
