Michael Hendrix, director of state and local policy at the Manhattan Institute, unpacks important election results impacting gubernatorial seats and local policy proposals. Ben Domenech interviewed Hendrix at the Manhattan Institute’s offices to discuss some of the biggest issues in urban areas and how they could improve with conservative policy ideas.

“When you look at a lot of these state races for governor, these are in many ways state-specific stories,” Hendrix said. “Democrats were also able to make inroads in some very Trumpy states…and overall more Americans now live in states with Democratic governors than Republican governors.”
