Hours before President Trump signed a $1.3 trillion spending bill to fund the government through October, rapper Cardi B demanded to see receipts from the government for how it spends her heard-earned money.
“Uncle Sam, I want to see receipts!” the 25-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper said in an expletive-filled rant she posted to Instagram on Thursday.
She said 40 percent of her income is going to taxes, but the streets in her city are filthy and the subway system is infested with rats.
Cardi B is getting into tax policy now. She says she's paying 40% of her income in taxes and wants to know where the money is going…"when you donate to a kid in a foreign country, they give you updates on what they're doing with your donation….I want updates on my tax money." pic.twitter.com/E1hITGNqee

“When you donate to a kid from a foreign country, they give you updates of what they’re doing,” she said. “I want to know what you’re doing with my f***ing tax money, because I’m from New York and the streets are always dirty.”
On Friday, President Trump signed yet another budget-less short-term funding package that would add a significant amount to the national deficit. It’s been nine years since Congress last passed a budget.
