“[Zohran] Mamdani is a completely antithetical candidate to the republican form of government that our Founders wanted. Government exists not to give rights, because a government that can give rights is a government that can take rights,” The Federalist’s Brianna Lyman said on Hannity. “Mamdani is promising that government can give you free housing, free food, free things. [But] Government is simply there to protect natural rights — natural rights that come from human nature and reason. And so [Eric Adams, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa] need to focus on the fact that Mamdani is simply un-American and anti-American.”
