“I think the country really does need to unify after this horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk, and really what that means is we need to unify against left-wing violence,” Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway said on Varney & Co. “We’re not talking about differences of political opinion, which happen on left and right and that are good, but there are some of these actual terror networks that have been tolerated far too long, and it’s not good for anybody, and some of their values are deeply at odds with necessary values for our country to continue, such as freedom of speech and tolerance for different viewpoints.”
“[W]hen you see, not just this assassination, but tens of thousands of people celebrating the assassination when they are in positions of authority like doctors or teachers, that is something the country does need to unify against.”
