Alito “is clearly the most conservative Supreme Court justice. There are many libertarians on the court historically and now, but as far as an actual conservative, Alito’s the conservative on the court,” Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway said when discussing her new book, Alito: The Justice Who Reshaped the Supreme Court and Restored the Constitution, in an Epoch Times interview.
“And he shows that you … can and should have your strong philosophical position, but you should also think about how it’s helping people and how to apply the principles that you so dearly hold, so that they do help people. [Alito] is much more practical, and that’s a good thing I think people should follow.”
