For all of the deficiencies of our ruling class, their overwhelming hubris is one of their most obvious and off-putting. In the absence of genuine honesty, this arrogance allows us to get a pulse on how elites across sectors truly feel about the most pressing issues of the day as they increasingly boast of their prejudices and derisively mock their opponents with a startling degree of openness.
Accordingly, the contempt they hold for white people has never been more apparent. Critical race theory has made this painfully clear, telling us that white people are uniquely guilty; guilty of racism, guilty of xenophobia, guilty of oppression, guilty of bigotry, guilty of Islamophobia, and guilty of all the other -isms that pad the pages of Marxist sociology textbooks.
But it’s not just that they believe white people are guilty; they believe that to be white is to be guilty. In other words, our elites think it is not okay to be white, and if you disagree, they’ll call you the R-word!
Students Harassed For Being White Conservatives
This animosity was put on display in a viral video when two college students at Arizona State University were found guilty of studying while white by their campus’s social justice commissars. The exchange gives us an insight into both the viciousness and pervasiveness of the elite narrative on white people.

One of the most poignant moments of the dispute was when one of the girls indignantly cries out that “whiteness isn’t a culture” in her attempt to expel a young man from the “multicultural space.”
If the left’s stalwart opposition to diversity of thought hasn’t already made it clear, “multicultural,” like the word “diversity,” is meaningless at best and a euphemism at worst. A multicultural space or a diverse society would recognize white people and opposing views as an acceptable part of that patchwork if there were any genuine interest in building a harmonious society rather than just using flowery rhetoric as moral veneers.
Instead, diversity and multiculturalism, which are now America’s guiding moral imperatives, have been redefined to gleefully denote a lack of white people, hence why they aren’t welcome in a “multicultural” space.
Trickle Down Racial Hatred
Although such an asinine statement doesn’t warrant a response, her attack is telling. In the worldview of the leftwing elites, white people or “whiteness” cannot be identified as a culture, but can only be defined in negative terms as an oppressive force.
In the words of academics and members of the media, white people and whiteness are regarded as parasites in need of a “permanent cure,” as something that must be abolished, as people whose “death will mean liberation for all,” who deserve to be stripped of their votes, discriminated against, have revolvers unloaded into their heads, and even killed in a genocide. But don’t worry, it’s all in the name of anti-racism!
If elite support of the harassers wasn’t obvious enough, it turns out that one of them, Sarra Tekola, is a fellow at the left-wing Ford Foundation. GoFundMe removed a page for the white victims but has allowed a page for Tekola to remain.
There is also a sad lesson to be learned from this video when one of the men tries to inject reason into the conversation with no avail, saying “I’m not racist, I’m just studying.” To absolutely no one’s surprise, she immediately calls him a racist.
But her problem with him isn’t that he’s racist. He certainly didn’t express any ill-will towards his harassers on the basis of their race. Just like many of those in the media and in academia that she has evidently taken her cues from, her problem with him is simply that he’s white.
White people are problematic when they’re colorblind. White people are problematic when they’re well-meaning. White people are problematic when they call for unity. White people are problematic when they’re “allies.” Even white babies are problematic.
White people are problematic when they’re silent and when they’re talking. White people are even to blame when black people attack Asian people or when a Latino man attacks a Burmese family. The descriptors change out of expediency, but the target of our ruling class remains the same.
If there are any doubts that there’s a consistent bias against white people in our media, here’s a small sample:
Leftwing Tastemakers Are to Blame For the Targeting
With these types of messages from our elites that are so clearly designed to foster anti-white animosity, this act of racial harassment at ASU should come as no surprise. It is just one of the many outgrowths of the anti-white narrative that dominates public discourse. Of course this vitriol has trickled down from the halls of power and into everyday life. Is there any doubt that such effects are intentional?
As appalling as it is, the video only showcases one of the tamer examples of the targeting of white people on the basis of their race. Although you’ve undoubtedly heard of one instance when a white woman called the police on a black bird watcher, a situation that was immortalized by a video that’s received more than 40 million views, it’s far less likely that you’ve heard of Kori Ali Muhammad, who talked about “white devils” before killing four white men, later admitting that he chose his victims because they were white.
It’s also rather unlikely that you’ve heard of Frederick Demond Scott, who killed five white men and was quoted as saying “kill all white people,” or of Rezzas Abdulla, who dodged jail despite previous convictions after he spat in a baby’s face and said that “white people shouldn’t breed,” or of Tamara Crowchief, who a judge found innocent of a hate crime after she yelled “I hate white people” before assaulting a white woman and knocking out her tooth. The list goes on and on and on.
On the other hand, it’d be surprising if you haven’t heard that, despite being underrepresented among hate crime offenders, white people have been designated as America’s top domestic terror threat. Meanwhile, notorious examples like the case of Nicholas Sandmann were noticed only because media members couldn’t contain the rage and bloodlust they directed at a white teenager who smirked at his harasser.
According to the left, these aren’t examples of racism because racism is allegedly about “prejudice plus power,” the implication being that white people can’t be victims of racism. One Women’s March protester even told me that calling for the murder of white people isn’t racist.
Whether or not these attackers and harassers have read “White Fragility” or are up to date on the latest “anti-racist” justifications for displaying open racial hatred is entirely irrelevant, as their teachings are reinforced by various institutions that make up our society’s power structure. It is undeniable that elite institutions, especially in media, academia, and politics, harbor a bias against white people and that this bias offers institutional support to attackers and harassers who seek out white victims.
As those in positions of power become increasingly emboldened to express their hostility, so will the Sarra Tekolas and even the Tamara Crowcheif’s of the world. But it will also provide an opportunity for those on the right who aren’t scared off by slurs to expose a ruling class that has already proved either unwilling or unable to contain their contempt.
