On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Host Ben Domenech interviews Rich Lowry, editor of National Review, on his new book, “The Case for Nationalism: How It Made Us Powerful, United, and Free.” They discuss the origins of nationalism, why the Democrats should be more nationalist in response to Trump, and the post-liberal debate in response to culture war issues.
“My basic nationalist agenda would be obviously protecting our sovereignty, paying a lot of attention to immigration policy and to assimilation, and really honing in on this cultural fight over the foundations of the country,” Lowry said.
