Ryan Anderson is the author of the new book, “When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment.” On this episode of the Federalist Radio Hour, Staff Writer Bre Payton interviews Anderson about his work on how transgender activists have disrupted education, civil rights, armed forces, and many areas of policy.

Anderson explains how “biology is not bigotry” and dismantles the contradictions of the transgender movement.

“Gender is a social construct and yet somehow I can be trapped in the wrong gender,” he said. “Why can’t we be more expansive with how we understand the social construct of gender rather than saying that you’re actually trapped in the wrong body?”
