If Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had accepted the invitation to appear on ABC’s “The View,” that “would make for really good television,” said Federalist D.C. Columnist Eddie Scarry on Fox Business Channel’s “The Evening Edit.”
“Anyone who has been following his career over the last few years has seen that he knows how to handle a hostile, aggressive press really well. He gives it as good as he takes it.” On the other hand, Scarry noted, “We are seeing this trend where Republicans are really waking up to the fact that the benefit of going on any one of these shows where you get screamed at, or the anchors or the host is being completely dishonest in their questioning, the benefit of that is very little, if any at all.”
