“There’s one way of life for the liberal justices and another for the conservatives,” Mollie Hemingway noted. The liberals — they can go appear on a Broadway play, they can go to the Grammy’s, they can party with Beyoncé, they can travel all over the world, and if they get noticed, it’s just to praise them,” Mollie Hemingway said when discussing her new book, Alito: The Justice Who Reshaped the Supreme Court and Restored the Constitution, with Jesse Kelly. “And then the conservatives — they and their spouses and their children can’t go to dinner together, because they might get killed.”
“So that disparity means that the liberal justices are really kind of out of touch with what the conservatives are going through.”
