Davidson: Mass Immigration Is A Recipe For Sectarian Conflict

“One thing that comes to mind … [is] Representative Ilhan Omar speaking to her Somali constituents in Minnesota — a state that has [a] large unassimilated immigrant population — and essentially conveying to them that her view of her role in Congress is to represent the interests of Somalia, and her East African homeland, and her fellow Somalians who have come to the United States, not to represent the Americans and the Americans in her district,” Federalist Senior Editor John Daniel Davidson said on The Matt Gaetz Show. “That becomes a problem … in a representative democracy, because now foreign interests and foreign enclaves have a seat at the table in what should be our own representative government here in America.”

“Importing foreign ethnic conflicts is what happens when you have large, unassimilated immigrant populations. We don’t want to have ethnic conflicts that are of the kind the rest of the world has playing out in the streets of American cities,” Davidson added.
