On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Jason Whitlock, host of “Fearless with Jason Whitlock” on BlazeTV, joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky and Publisher Ben Domenech to discuss how he will use his new show to challenge groupthink and how politics are tearing down one institution that has always united Americans: sports.

“American adversaries abroad and within understood the importance of sports as a unifying force in America and they are undermining all unifying forces in America. Sports at the forefront of that, Christianity at the forefront of being undermined, we’ve become more of a secular society,”Whitlock said.

“Jesus used to bring us together and make us look beyond our superficial differences and come together. ‘One nation under God.’ It sounds cliche, but it actually worked and brought us together,” he said. “These things are being torn down. It’s not an accident. It’s not happening organically. People that want to see America fall are financing this.”

Whitlock said the groupthink and wokeness that occupy the media and plague areas like sports have forced him to take a stand.

“When I saw everybody’s choosing an agenda and choosing a side, it forced me into a position because I’ve never been political,” he said. “I’ve never voted, that irritates a lot of people, but I just never wanted to have a political identity, but the left has gone so crazy that anybody with any common sense is seen as a conservative.”
