McKay Coppins, staff writer at The Atlantic, joins Ben Domenech on the Federalist Radio Hour to discuss whether Republicans and Democrats will do some soul searching now that they’ve seen the results of their 2018 campaigning.

Coppins explains the GOP embraced Trumpism, and why Dems have no plans of shedding their progressive leanings. They also discuss how Newt Gingrich broke Congress, and paved the way for Trump.

“The actual outcome is that we now have a House caucus way more loyal to Donald Trump than before the election,” Coppins said.
