Life is unpredictable, swinging from joy to sorrow and back again, over and over and over. Marriage is naturally going to reflect that swinging.
My husband’s illness robbed me not only of the strong man I had leaned on for all of our married life, but also of the little things I had somehow taken for granted.
In honor of our thirtieth year of marriage, I reflect on what is the same and what is different from year ten at year thirty.
