Nicole Regueira is a rising fourth year, student-athlete, and QuestBridge scholarship recipient at the University of Chicago, studying political science and economics with a specialization in business. She is a first-generation Cuban American from Miami, Florida with a perspective of the Cuban crisis that encapsulates the stories, emotions, and personal experiences of many Cubans and Cuban Americans.
