Nathan Smith, Ph.D., is the director of the Division of Economic Policy at the Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA), and author of "Principles of a Free Society," "The Verdict of Reason: Why Gay Marriage Cannot Be the Real Thing and Should Not Be Recognized in Law," and "For the Refreshment of the Spirit," among many other publications.
