Contributor Doni M. Wilson is a professor of English at Houston Baptist University. She received her
doctorate in English from UNC-Chapel Hill. She taught at UNC-Chapel Hill, Elon University, the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and the University of St. Thomas. In addition to writing academic essays on English and American literature, she has also written for The Millions, The Awl, The Houston Chronicle, and The Imaginative Conservative, as well as other publications.
