In the nation’s most progressive state, you only need to be 12 years old to privately seek and consent to treatment for gender transitioning.
These bills go dangerously beyond questioning plain facts. If passed, they would effectively silence those who dare to oppose their authors — facts be damned.
If passed, this regulation will allow Delaware’s public-school children to decide from day to day whether they are male or female.
Innocent, impressionable children can be molded into persons of deep character, guided by transcendent principles. Or they can be turned into weapons.
Perhaps Elle’s transgender father never fondled her because he desired to have a body like hers. I pray she had—and always will have—a loving and respectful home life. I didn’t.
All this otherworldly transgender stuff seems sudden, but it isn’t. For the few of us who were paying attention, it wasn’t that hard to see it coming.
The children of transgender people will have to struggle with the knowledge that their mother is also their father, or vice versa. It hurts them. I know, because I was that child, too.
Society has got to stop enabling the harmful fantasies of the transgender community, both for their sake and for ours.
Perspectives from children who come from nontraditional homes, such as those with transgender parents, should be at least as important as those of the people who created those homes.
