Callie Hyde is a senior in the Baylor University Honors College, attending Georgetown University Law Center after her graduation in May. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Honors Student Advisory Council, a William Carey Crane Scholar, and works as an undergraduate assistant to Judge Ken Starr. Her ultimate aim is to work in the public interest as a lawyer defending religious liberty and human rights.
It is not only wrong but harmful to young women for the contraceptive mandate to frame the issue of women’s equality as merely an issue of preventative health care.
