Joe Rogan did not mince words during last Friday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.” The widely followed podcaster heavily criticized vaccine passports and coercion, saying the United States is “moving one step closer to dictatorship.”

During the episode, Rogan grilled CNN’s Don Lemon, who recently said people shouldn’t be able to go to work or even to the supermarket without getting COVID shots. Rogan said people like Lemon are “dumb” and “don’t understand” things like human nature and history. Rogan explained that the problem with supporting vaccine passports is they give politicians power that they will not give up.

“As soon as you give politicians power, any kind of power that didn’t exist previously, historically, they don’t relinquish that power,” said Rogan. “They find new ways to do it.”

According to Rogan, the people applauding vaccine passports and social coercion such as private bans from employment do not realize the United States has been successful because, unlike other countries in world history, it implemented self-government and ensured its citizens’ freedom.

“[America] created the greatest cultural machine, the greatest machine of art and creativity and innovation, right f–king here. And how did it do that? It did it through freedom,” said Rogan. “Because when you give people freedom, you let people do whatever the f–k they want to do, they actually find ways to succeed and grow and thrive.”

“But as soon as you put the boots to them, as soon as you tell them, ‘You have to do this, or you can’t do that. You have to listen to me,’ now you have a mini dictator,” he said. “You have one step away from a king. One step closer. You’re moving one step closer to dictatorship. That’s what the f— is happening.”

“That’s what’s gonna happen with a vaccine passport,” he added. “That’s what’s gonna happen if they close borders. You can’t enter New York City unless you have your papers,”

Rogan’s comments come in the wake of multiple vaccine passport laws and private vaccination demands across the country. In New York City, as Rogan mentioned, everyone is being forced to provide proof of vaccination to participate in “indoor activities,” like dining in restaurants, working out in gyms, or attending the movie theater.

Commenting on the changing “science” and supposed infallibility of the emergency-use COVID shots, Rogan also pointed out that “just a couple of months ago, the idea of a breakthrough case was unheard of.” However, “Now we know, not only do you get [COVID if you are vaccinated], but you can spread it and some people have died.”

Indeed, it has been revealed that people who have taken the shots are reportedly being infected with the Delta variant, despite all the assurances that the shots would protect people from getting COVID.

This is not the first time Rogan has made statements about the pandemic that contradict the Anthony Fauci, Democrat, and corporate media narrative.

Rogan came under fire in April after he suggested that young and healthy people, who are not at risk of dying or being hospitalized from COVID, do not “need” a COVID-19 shot. This statement is backed up by the World Health Organization, which says on their website that they do not recommend children under 18 be given a COVID shot. However, Rogan still received harsh criticism from the corporate media and even Dr. Fauci himself.

Rogan, who has 11 million listeners per podcast upload, has long been feared by the left-wing establishment in media and government for being a free thinker. Despite the blowback he received from his April comments, Rogan is clearly not afraid to continue saying what he thinks about COVID-19 and the government’s accompanying never-ending and never-changing rules and regulations.
