FBI Raids Target Democrats’ Political Foes Instead Of True Criminals

The FBI neglected to raid the homes of criminals like Hunter Biden and Michael Sussmann but raided the Veritas Project founder’s home based on a lie.

The only apparent criterion the FBI needs to raid the homes of American citizens is that those citizens have ever supported former President Donald Trump.

Here are the names of some of the political leaders on the right that the FBI has targeted: Roger Stone, Rudy Giuliani, James O’Keefe, and Jeff Clark. The FBI is now also engaging in raids on private homes of elderly Americans who peacefully attended the Capitol protest on Jan. 6, 2020. Compare this treatment to that of actual criminals affiliated with Democrats, such as Hunter Biden, Andy McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Michael Sussmann. The latter have seen no personal visit from the FBI since their crimes were committed or exposed.

The FBI showed up to former Trump advisor Stone’s home in January 2019 and placed him under arrest after he was indicted for allegedly lying to Congress about seeking U.S. emails that were supposedly hacked by Russia and then fed to WikiLeaks. The court later found him guilty of witness tampering, obstruction, and issuing false statements, and sentenced him to three years.

Trump pardoned Stone in December 2020. Since then, the foundation for the case against Stone—Russian election interference—which was called to question by conservatives then, has now been proven illegitimate by the Sussmann trial.

Stone was only the first wave of this politically weaponized FBI, however, with the FBI conducting a 6 a.m. raid on former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s home in April 2021, ostensibly searching for evidence that Giuliani broke the law regarding Ukraine. This was after Giuliani had offered twice to answer prosecutors’ questions. A year after the raid, Giuliani is still under investigation with no crimes charged against him nor the FBI willing to broadcast what they’re after.

Veritas Project founder O’Keefe underwent probably one of the least covered-up examples of FBI corruption in November of last year. The FBI raided O’Keefe’s home and office under the allegation that O’Keefe had stolen Ashley Biden’s diary. Yet the diary was no longer in O’Keefe’s hands at the time, as he had turned it in to Florida police after evaluating its veracity.

O’Keefe said the diary was found abandoned in a hotel and given to him. The Veritas Project could not verify if it was real and so did not publish anything. Three weeks later, the Justice Department pulled almost 200,000 Veritas emails and files under the unsubstantiated claim that O’Keefe stole the diary.

In case you thought these phony raids were old news, this Wednesday, federal authorities searched the home of Jeff Clark, former assistant attorney general under Trump. The U.S. Attorney’s office in D.C. said there was “activity” near Clark’s address, NPR reports, but that they had “no comment regarding the nature of that activity or any particular individual.”

Clark’s coworker Russ Vought, the former White House budget director under Trump, tweeted, “The new era of criminalizing politics is worsening in the US. Yesterday more than a dozen DOJ law enforcement officials searched Jeff Clark’s house in a pre dawn raid, put him in the streets in his pjs, and took his electronic devices.”

Democrats have weaponized the DOJ and the FBI as tools of political repression instead of justice. They are no longer conducting raids to investigate crime; they are conducting raids to punish their political opponents, criminalize dissent, and see if they can materialize crime.

If his father weren’t president of the United States, Hunter Biden would likely be in jail. Known for his father stepping in on his behalf repeatedly during exhibitions of criminal behavior, for gratuitously dumping tens of thousands on sexual exploits, and possibly even committing a felony to purchase a gun, Hunter Biden’s highly lucrative foreign dealings have lowered a cloud of suspicion over his head that the federal government feels no eagerness to charge him with.

One of Hunter Biden’s more damning “business” deals was the apparent compensation the Chinese government offered him through a company Hunter Biden ran representing Dr. Patrick Ho Chi Ping. Ho was later convicted of using millions for bribery. He placed a call to Hunter Biden’s brother at the time of his arrest. Although Hunter Biden is allegedly under ongoing federal investigation, there was no FBI raid on his home.

In October 2021, the Justice Department settled with McCabe, the former FBI deputy director implicated in spreading false information about Trump to entrap him in legal proceedings and destroy his presidency. Rather than punish him, the FBI gave McCabe the pension he lost after he was fired in March 2018.

McCabe was found guilty of “advancing his personal interests at the expense of department leadership” after misleading investigators in the probe of Hilary Clinton’s email server, Fox News reported. His full pension was restored last year, and during the whole process, the FBI never raided his home.

Another former FBI man, Strzok was fired from the FBI in 2018 due to reportedly using his government position to try to prevent Trump’s election and tie it up in investigations after that failed. In a congressional hearing, Strzok protested there was no evidence personal bias affected his work, but House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy insisted he exhibited “textbook bias,” according to Fox News. No FBI raid was conducted at his house either.

Finally, the FBI has neglected to raid Sussmann. Last fall, Special Counsel John Durham accused Hilary Clinton’s campaign lawyer of lying to the FBI about the Alfa Bank hoax that the Clinton campaign fed to the public, falsely insinuating Russian collusion. Sussmann went to the FBI of his own accord, he told the FBI, but in reality was spreading disinformation signed off on by Hilary Clinton.

Contrary to the facts of the case, a D.C. jury acquitted Sussmann last month. No FBI raid was conducted at Sussmann’s home during any part of the proceedings.
