Timothy J. Muris is a foundation professor of law at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, senior counsel at Sidley Austin LLP, former chairman of the FTC in the George W. Bush administration, and the only person to have lead both of the FTC’s enforcement bureaus (in the Reagan Administration). He has advised Intel and other companies on FTC, SSO, and other technology issues. The views expressed are solely his own.
