In 2006, he founded the John Paul II Medical Research Institute, a research organization devoted toward the application of adult stem cells for treating orphan diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer and other unmet medical conditions. Jay Kamath has over two decades worth of legal experience in corporate and general practice law. He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of John Paul II Medical Research Institute since 2012.
