Michael Dakduk deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, including as a member of 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion (now 1st Marine Raiders). Daniel Elkins is a former Green Beret, Special Operations combat veteran, and currently attending the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
