Chuck DeVore is chief national initiatives officer at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, a former California legislator, and a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel. He is the author of “The Crisis of the House Never United—A Novel of Early America.” Ammon Blair delivered invited testimony on the threat of unchecked illegal immigration before the Budget Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives on May 8. He is a senior fellow with the Texas Public Policy Foundation and served more than 10 years as a Border Patrol Agent and is a U.S. Army veteran.
