Griswold: Dove Takes Marketing Cues From Bud Light With ‘Fat Liberation’ Ambassador

“I don’t necessarily think the backlash will be as intense as the Bud Light backlash,” Federalist Editorial Director Kylee Griswold said on Newsmax of Dove soap’s decision to use a “fat liberation” activist as a brand ambassador, adding that it’s “not necessarily the same as the transgender controversy, which seems to be more of an animating force in our culture right now because of the fundamental nature of the sexes to our civilization. But that said, the similarities in the unscientific nature of all this is uncanny. Just as it’s unscientific to think that it’s healthy to amputate healthy body parts or sterilize kids, it’s equally crazy to think that it’s healthy to be morbidly obese.”
