“Every migrant that we talked to told us that they came north and they planned to get into the United States because they think it’s a good time to come. They think that they can get in and that they’ll be allowed to stay,” Senior Editor at The Federalist John Daniel Davidson told Tucker Carlson on Friday.
“They’re not wrong. Most of the migrants who are getting in and who are getting picked up by Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection are being allowed to stay—they are being paroled into the country, they’re being released pending their asylum hearing. There’s any number of ways that they’re being released, but all in all the majority of them are getting through.”
