Since the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate several weeks ago, America’s left-wing, propaganda press has pulled out all the stops to completely shift focus away from the failing presidency of Joe Biden.
Turn on your television to MSNBC or flip through the pages of The Washington Post and you’re bound to find numerous media hits about the latest “scandal” involving “Orange Man Bad” and the FBI’s targeting of literally any and every document ever looked upon by the former Republican president during his time in office. Today, for instance, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman and her band of Democrat sycophants published their latest “bombshell” story containing information likely leaked to them by America’s politically corrupt FBI that hypes up the Biden DOJ’s ongoing political persecution of a former president and potential 2024 presidential candidate.
“The initial batch of documents retrieved by the National Archives from former President Donald J. Trump in January included more than 150 marked as classified, a number that ignited intense concern at the Justice Department and helped trigger the criminal investigation that led F.B.I. agents to swoop into Mar-a-Lago this month seeking to recover more,” the Times report claimed in overly dramatic fashion, citing “multiple people briefed on the matter.”
In addition to the countless cable news segments and articles published on the subject, outlets such as MSNBC and CNN have also taken it upon themselves to bring on disgraced former FBI officials like Peter Strzok and Andrew McCabe to defend the FBI’s nonexistent integrity and the agency’s targeting of Trump.
“It’s not that the FBI is targeting any one side or the other,” Strzok, a disgraced former agent who helped push the debunked Russia collusion hoax targeting Donald Trump, said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “What you see is the FBI going out on a day-in and day-out basis objectively investigating allegations of law.”
Biden Is Still a Failure
Try as they may to alter the discourse among the American public, the media can’t change the fact that the presidency of Democrat Joseph R. Biden has and continues to be a complete disaster for the country.
As a result of his administration’s war on fossil fuels, energy costs for the average American have skyrocketed nationwide. Take for example, gas prices, which have nearly doubled from the $2.42 per gallon national average in the month Biden took office. Electricity costs have also increased, with the average U.S. city seeing prices rise from $0.136 per kilowatt-hour in January 2021 to $0.166 per kilowatt-hour in July 2022.
Inflation is another area where things have substantially worsened under Biden. In conjunction with his energy policies, this administration’s insane levels of deficit spending have contributed to the year-over-year consumer price index rising 8.5 percent in July, with inflation raising the cost of everyday necessities, such as food and clothing apparel. Factor in Biden’s signing of the dishonestly named “Inflation Reduction Act,” which costs $740 billion and is projected to raise taxes on middle-income earners, and Americans can expect inflation numbers to get cataclysmically worse.
At the U.S. southern border, the situation is just as dire. Since taking office, Biden has all but declared America’s border with Mexico nonexistent, leading to unprecedented levels of illegal immigration and drugs like fentanyl continuing to pour into American communities. As detailed in The Federalist’s documentary, “Cartel Country: The Untold Story Of America’s Black Market On The Border,” Biden’s open-door policies have also accelerated human smuggling along the U.S.-Mexico border, which has led to the expansion of a black market reliant on the increasing number of foreign nationals traveling to the United States.
Whether the corporate press likes to admit it or not, the reality on the ground for the average American is not centered around the next Trump-related non-troversy. For millions of Americans across the country, Biden’s moronic policies continue to wreak havoc on their daily lives and ability to provide for their families. Despite the media’s addiction to Trump, there’s no amount of deflection in the world that’s going to change that reality.
