Will President Joe Biden apologize for defaming Kyle Rittenhouse as a white supremacist? The White House did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment.

On Friday, the 18-year-old Illinois teen charged in the shooting of three men amid a night of reckless rioting in Kenosha, Wis., was acquitted of all charges. Rittenhouse was found innocent on five counts including first-degree reckless homicide, two charges of first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree intentional homicide, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

“Without commenting on the verdicts themselves, in terms of the attentiveness and cooperation you gave to us, justifies the confidence that the founders of our country placed in you,” Judge Bruce Schroeder said of the jury upon completion of the highly publicized trial where the jury was not sequestered.

Last week, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki sighed when asked about the president defaming Rittenhouse as a white supremacist last year in a September tweet featuring images of the teen the night of the Kenosha carnage.

“Why did President Biden suggest that Kyle Rittenhouse on trial in Kenosha is a white supremacist?” pressed Fox News’s Peter Doocy in a White House press briefing.

Psaki responded visibly frustrated, not backing down from the president’s inflammatory rhetoric.

“What I’m not going to speak to right now is anything about an ongoing trial, nor the president’s past comments,” she said. “What I can reiterate for you is the president’s view that we shouldn’t have, broadly speaking, vigilantes patrolling our communities with assault weapons. We shouldn’t have opportunists corrupting peaceful protests by rioting and burning down the communities they claim to represent, anywhere in the country.”
