Robby Soave, associate editor at Reason Magazine, interviewed students and attendees at the March for Our Lives rally in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. Soave joins The Federalist Radio Hour, where he describes the staggering number of students who expressed fears of dying at school, despite the fact that schools are statistically safer than ever before.

“All political traditions do have a tendency to use kids as props and I don’t think this is any different,” Soave said. “I think [the students] are worth engaging and taking seriously…but that doesn’t mean we don’t get to criticize them.”

Later in the hour, they discuss the sustained fight against free speech and due process on college campuses, plus his recent venture into the game of “Dungeons and Dragons.”
