If you enjoy shooting and teaching others to do the same, then you’ll love a new promotion from MagTech and AmmoToGo.com. As part of a new Ammo Ambassador program, experienced shooters who take a new shooter to the range this weekend can get 100 rounds of 9mm ammunition for free, courtesy of the two companies.

AmmoToGo.com, an online ammunition depot, says it’s offering the deal to give knowledgeable shooters an incentive to teach a friend or family member how to safely use a firearm:

We’re committed to growing the shooting community and introducing as many folks as possible to the joy of shooting. So, we partnered with our friends at Magtech on the Ammo Ambassador program.

We’re giving away 100,000 rounds – that’s 2,000 boxes of 9mm ammo just for bringing a new shooter to the range! So, be sure to start planning today as quantities are limited!

In order to get your free ammo, you need to follow the following five steps, detailed on AmmoToGo’s website:

Always remember that safety is the most important priority when handling a firearm. In addition to following the four gun safety rules yourself, be sure that the new shooter you’re taking to the range understands them as well. If you’re riding to the range together, have your shooting partner memorize and recite to you the four gun safety rules while you’re in the car together.

Once you’re at the range and before anyone handles a gun, make sure your partner knows the rules by memory: 1) treat all guns as if they are loaded, 2) never point the muzzle at anything you don’t intend to destroy, 3) keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target, and 4) be sure of your target and everything that’s behind and around it.

Before you head to the range, don’t forget to print out and take the Ammo Ambassador target with you. You can download the target here.
